Utterly enchanting and delightfully inspirational. This needs artwork. Do you know any artists or feel up to the task sketching yourself. I remeber you had that writing desk but I don’t recall if you draw. Regardless this is a perfectly beautiful story.
You’ve got a really sweet reading voice like a teacher or one of those library storytellers. The soothing tones of your reading make this a great example of inspirational children’s literature that transcends as a reminder to adults.

I actually have on many occasions thought of being a children’s author AND illustrator. I do indeed draw. Maybe I should give it a shot :) Your engagement makes me feel like I could do anything I try. And I’m glad I have a soothing voice. We won’t talk about yours. Too dangerous. Let’s just say that if you recorded yourself reading The Hobbit, Eric would wet himself.
Oh…really….well maybe you should email me more about my voice. I get so little feedback on that I don’t know if I need to change tones or what people like me reading better.
As to your lovely self, you need to do something with this its too perfect not to be chased. The way it’s written breaks down into lovely bitesize pieces that can go along with illustrations. This turn into a bigger project but on just the reading alone it’s something that year 1 kids should be read as a call to be amazing and try. Plus audio book verison/read along version means your pretty voice gets everywhere.
Get it worked on now young lady or no hobbit bedtime stories for eric!!! he’ll keep you honest! Ahahaha😄
My mind is turning over images in my head for the book ever since you mentioned it. It shall become my new obsession. And you shall help me!!!!
